Welcome to Syntaxium Club (“we”, “our”, “us”). By accessing or becoming a member of our club, you agree to the following terms and conditions. Please read them carefully before registering or making any payment.

1. Membership Eligibility

Membership is open to students pursuing their degree programs in Gujarat or associated institutions. Members must provide accurate personal and academic information during registration.

2. Membership Fees

The Syntaxium Club membership fee is ₹350 (one-time) and is valid for the entire duration of your four-year degree program. All payments are processed securely through Razorpay. Once paid, the membership fee is non-refundable under any circumstances, except in cases of duplicate transactions or technical payment errors.

3. Membership Benefits

• Access to all Syntaxium Club technical and non-technical events.
• Free or discounted entry to workshops and coding sessions.
• Exclusive mentorship, networking, and learning opportunities.
• RFID-based membership ID card for attendance and access tracking.
• Early registration access for events and competitions.

4. RFID ID Card

Each member will receive an RFID-based ID card for attendance and entry to Syntaxium events. Members are responsible for keeping their card safe. In case of loss or damage, a nominal reissue fee may be charged. Misuse of the ID card (such as sharing with others) may lead to membership suspension.

5. Event Participation

Members are expected to follow the rules and guidelines of each event organized by the club. Participation certificates and recognitions will be provided based on event-specific criteria. The organizing committee reserves the right to modify or cancel events as needed.

6. Code of Conduct

• Respect all participants, mentors, and organizers.
• Maintain academic integrity and professionalism during events.
• Avoid plagiarism, harassment, or any unethical activity.
• Syntaxium Club reserves the right to terminate membership for violation of conduct rules.

7. Payment Processing

All transactions are securely handled through Razorpay. Syntaxium Club does not store or have access to your payment credentials. If any payment discrepancy occurs, members must contact the club within 7 working days.

8. Data and Privacy

Personal data shared by members (such as name, email, contact number, college name) will only be used for administrative and communication purposes. For detailed data protection terms, refer to our Privacy Policy.

9. Intellectual Property

All club materials, logos, website designs, and event content are the intellectual property of Syntaxium Club. Unauthorized use or reproduction without permission is prohibited.

10. Limitation of Liability

Syntaxium Club is not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential losses resulting from event participation, website use, or payment transactions.

11. Changes to Terms

These Terms and Conditions may be updated periodically to reflect club growth or legal requirements. Updated terms will be posted on this page with a revised date.
